The Hop Inn offers a range of wonderful events, and here’s a glimpse of the memorable events that have taken place at The Hop Inn. From private tastings for two to charity quiz nights, our venue has been the backdrop for countless special moments.
At the Hop Inn, we have hosted a number of comedy nights alongside Brewery Comedy.
A fabulous sold out evening featuring a lecture on Alexander Litvinenko, presented by Paul Barwick. All ticket sales went towards Paul Green and his completing the Tour de France in aid of The William Wates Memorial Trust.
We were excited to welcome Jimmy from Siren Craft Brew to help us explore some of the Siren Craft brews with a group of our guests. We had a brilliant line-up ready to pour for the evening and the event was a sell-out.
Our guests sampled Memento Bitter on cask; malty and refreshing, the Snap Back collab with Roosters Brew Co and Suspended In New Zealand Hazy Pale. We also had a very limited Hazy IPA collab with Verdant Brew brewed on the 28th of February with Verdant and Siren house yeasts and called Leapling. To finish we had the amazing bourbon barrel-aged imperial dark ale ‘Dark Perilous Nights’ which is definitely one to savour.
We are lucky enough to have some incredibly talented people amongst our staff and our regulars who all came together one sunny Sunday evening. Captained by our General Manager, Connor, we saw renditions of Knocking on Heaven’s Door, and many sing-a-longs with members of the audience coming to join in.
Our little venue was bursting at the seams with pundits enjoying the music, comradery and oodles of talent. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday evening.
An Aperitivi tasting evening with some of our lovely locals. We tasted many bitter, sweet, herbal and delicious drinks including Kingston Black from Somerset Cider Brandy and Sacred Gin’s London Vermouth amongst the Italian classics.
There were many stories told and many glasses drained.
